The course provides 3 days of online video. During this time you will watch online videos from an instructor who guides you through writing Swift code in an Xcode playground. During this time you'll receive insight into many different areas of Swift, Xcode, keyboard shortcuts and tips that'll help construct a strong foundation of Swift knowledge.

The foundational knowledge of Swift is the most important part of learning Swift.

On the 4th day you're guided through building a system without UI. This strategy reflects the work you'll be doing in industry, which will most likely be editing the brain of the application - the system without UI.

From here you'll download an example of the same system but used within an Xcode project (UIKit & SwiftUI). This is mainly just for reference and might be helpful to you.

From this moment, you'll continue to practice through coding tasks set inside Xcode playgrounds without online instructional videos. Our online videos are very insightful but also time consuming. It is for this reason that we try to move you toward learning from written instructions (i.e. written requirements). This is why we focus on the videos from the beginning; So that learning will be faster and you'll understand the basics well enough not to require more online videos.

You will then download The Swift Cheatsheet as a language reference guide containing many useful code examples. This is intended to be used at work when you forget Swift syntax and need a fast reminder without having to search the internet for clues.

Now you're on your own! A self sufficient programmer with strong Swift skills!
